Foil Stamping

Foil Stamping is a process of applying metallic or pigmented foil onto a substrate using heat and pressure.

Originally used for gold and silver effects, today, foil comes in a huge array of colours and finishes including metalic, holographic and matt pigments.  With such extensive options, foiling can be customised to fit any design.

Unlike laminates and glitter which contain plastic particles, modern foils are completely recyclable meaning foil stamped products can be recycled in exactly the same way paper can.  Foil stamping is a totally dry, solvent free process and has no negative effect in terms of biodegradation of the paper or board.  It is environmentally friendly.

Embossing

Quality embossing can transform the simplest of products into works of art.

With its aesthetic and tactile appeal, quality embossing immediately raises the standard of a product and adds instant elegance.  Creating a multi-dimensional impression, images can be either embossed or debossed, with or without the inclusion of foil.

Die Cutting

Diecutting is a process used to generate quantities of the same shape.

These can be simple shapes for items such as hang tags or more complicated shapes that can then be converted into other items such as folders or envelopes.   Diecut shapes can be made ready for further printing, embossing or foiling effects.

Duplexing

Duplexing is the process of bonding together two or more sheets of paper or card to create.

In effect, you then get two outward facing sides with no obvious "back" or "front" side - perfect for creating double sided business cards or invitations for example, with the added option to create different colours or textures on each side.

Edge Painting

Edge Painting is a technique that literally paints the edges.  It works best on business cards where you can use your corporate colours to blend all around the card to banish white edges, or choose a contrasting colour to add a creative “extra” and that all important uniqueness.
